This route was born out of attorney Yunus Özak's personal curiosity and notes taken while walking through İstanbul's streets. Today, it is walked together with a wide range of participants—from university students and student clubs to people of different ages and professions interested in the city.

Curator of the İstanbul Justice Route
Yunus Özak was born in İstanbul. He has been practicing law for 16 years as a member of the İstanbul Bar Association. He is among the founders of the İstanbul-based Master Law Plus Law Office and the Venice-based investment agency Venora. He works in the fields of international consultancy, mergers & acquisitions, and real estate investment along the Turkey–Italy axis. He is the curator of the İstanbul Justice Route.
